Diana is a 28th years old single woman who's patient and caring for her bed-ridden father. The only joy and stress-reliever for her is when she played her favorite Otome game Love dating simulator ), Hakuōki Shinsengumi. Spending many years of taking care her father, finally the day has come for him. Years later, by sickness she followed her father to the next life.
Though, it's called next life, she didn't expect to be reincarnated in another world-to be precise, into the Hakuōki Shinsengumi world. Though she rememberers this new world as an Otome Game, her new life seems to have nothing to do with the characters. Neither as the heroine nor the villain.
The gods gave her their blessing for her because of her good deeds from previous life, but even a god's blessing will come with great responsibility. Shun Tanzaki is her name in this second life. Her duty is to lead the yokai and protect the balance within them-She's happy because she can repay the gods kindness, but the gods force her to rethink her dedication in this life, because finally... only in this life... she can have the chance of meeting her love... Hijikata Toshizō.
