Ever since he was a kid, Will Turner was never remembered. He was always 'who's that wonderful little boy that served tea at the governor's house?' or 'the blacksmith's apprentice'. All he wanted was to do something amazing and be remembered for once. That whenever someone asked for a story it would be about him. That was all he ever wanted. Elizabeth Swann had taken the name 'Turner' when she was kidnapped. She loved Will. Because he was so simple. He was the only normal thing in her life. Now she almost... regretted it. But she could feel where Will was coming from. She knew how she felt. His life wasn't as bad as hers... but he would argue that it was worse. It depended on whose side you were on, she supposed. If you looked at it her way, it was probably about the same. She wanted freedom and he wanted to be remembered. But whenever he went out, he didn't have to be someone else.
