Adam took out his knife and held it against my throat. "Stay away from us!" I said. "I will not stop until every member of your family is dead!" he replied threatening.

The year is 1971 and a horrible murder has been committed in a house. A man and his three children has been murdered. The killer is the man's husband. 

One year later meets Tommy a man and he present himself as Adam. He falls in love with him, unaware of that he's America's most wanted man. 

He tell him that he lost his husband and their kids in a car crash. Adam moves in with Tommy and becomes stepfather to his children.

But Tommy's eldest son confronts Adam for lying his hands on his little brother. He had grabbed him roughly when he didn't lower the volume on his cd player.

A friend to the family warns him about his husband. He's a dangerous serial killer who show no mercy. 

Their lives suddenly become a game of life and death. Adam will not stop until every member of his family is dead.

He knows how much Emily loves to collect old vintage dolls. The woman who sells the doll tell him that her name is Annabelle. She says that his daughter must take good care of her. They'll live in a house that's said to be haunted. A crying girl and the sound of a gun keeps him awake at night. He tells it to his mom, but she says he has to stop watching horror movies. Tommy decides to visit the cemetery to get away from everything and well there he meets Adam. He says that an entire family was murdered in that house and the place is possessed by evil spirits. If they don't move, something bad will happen to them. Who's the mysterious Adam who seem to know the truth about what actually happened.
