Holly Ann left the Avengers when Tony split the team in half she wanted no part of the fight. She went into hiding cause not only was she a ex shield agent she was also telepathic and trained under Natasha. But when Natasha thinks that she seen her somewhere in Russia during a mission she calls in Steve for back up cause it's been 3 years and there's no telling where she's been hiding.
