The adventure continues with the first installment of The Scarlet Truth Trilogy as friendships will be tested and the Assassin Brotherhood compromised.

Ezio returns to 1890, London, only to learn that Ciel and Sebastian have disappeared and that new enemies are in their wake. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Middleford, Ciel's fiancée, wants to know who would cause the disappearance of the boy and his butler, and decides to form an alliance with the Assassins in order to seek out her Earl.

Will Ezio and Elizabeth succeed in saving the Earl and his Butler, or will the Queen's White Spider reign supreme in this new and deadly game?
