Being an undercover cop in Chicago can be hard enough but when you end up being busted as part of a drug distribution gang you didn't even know existed by someone you know, it gets harder. 
Then you end up with a target on your back because you got out of it pretty fast and your now labelled as a snitch, it gets difficult. 
So you get pulled out and you have to try and blend back into reality, with no job because if the same face showed up six months later under a different name and backstory you would be dead in ten minutes.

Erin used to work with them, she was part of the Intelligence. She was the adopted daughter of the intelligence sergeant. She was now part of the FBI, so how was Erin involved with this gang? Had she reverted to her old ways? And the most important question, why was Erin back in Chicago? - Mature content. I don't watch CPD anymore, but I love everything Sophia does/did.
