Emily's Letters Emily Pickette was once a happy young girl with a bipolar disorder, making the best out of her life even when her family was financially troubled and hateful towards one another. Her one solace, her beacon when things fell dark, was her older half-brother, Tony. Once he'd been taken away from her, Emily's attitude turned sour and antisocial towards others, her violent mood springs causing her to need medication. Everything was over, or so she felt, since seemingly no one could replace her precious brother. And just when she felt as though it was time to be done, she remembered the promises she'd made to Tony. With a new vow to fulfill her promises and a passion for writing short letters to her deceased brother, Emily tries to conquer her fears and take a step in the right direction.

It's been three years since Sophie moved in with her older brothers, it's been three years since her mother passed away and she has been growing and changing in the last three years. Sophie is about to be fifteen years old and has she get's older, she realizes how much her mother will miss out on. The future she has, her mother won't be around to see it.
