Amy and all her Sonic friends are human. They decided to stay on Earth, and had a friend help them blend in. Hopefully to have normal lives. Amy wasn't so lucky. She stumbled upon a man, called Saren, who had killed a dragon right before her eyes. She had to choose between becoming his apprentice, and learn the ways of monster hunting, or to lose her memory of what happened. So, she decided to become an apprentice. She becomes the best student Saren ever had, and soon after he dies, she finds a way to kill the only monster that none have ever been able to kill. A Diren, a creature very similar to a vampire. This knowledge is costly though. And Amy has some tough decisions to make when the people she's cares about most get mixed up in it. But what happens when she gets the rude awakening that she can't save everyone?
She may need a little power of foresight to help her.

About the story: Amy Rose is a new girl that Shadow has had dreams of. Literally. He doesn't know what it means but when he finally meets her, he instantly falls in love. The thing is...
