Every person who enters the glade is there for the trial. Their soul purpose to give their lives to Wicked's research in the name of humanity's survival.
So when Abi enters the maze, she has no memory of why or how she ended up there, only a tattoo on her arm and the number 7 printed on a wall beside her.
For whatever reason, she was put into the maze for an entirely different reason, Wicked doing their absolute best to make sure she gives them what they want. The only problem is, is that she doesn't know what they need from her, so she doesn't know how to stop it.
One boy though, could change everything, putting the lives of Abi and the other gladers in danger so they can discover the true reason behind their purpose in the maze.
Will they be able to stop the destruction of Wicked before it's too late, or will Wicked win the end game?

Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way.
