The people who smile the brightest cry the hardest.
Those who always have a happy face never sad carry the darkest memories.

That is no different for 17 year old Soren Blue. Soren is not only a mute but she is also the most famous street fighter, dancer, and racer in her city.
She is coached by her twin brother River Kingston he's the only person she has trusted since she was 8 years old.

Ever since that day her life has been a living hell.

Their father abuses them day in and day out Soren more than River but no one knows about the abuse because she never allows anyone to get too close.

That can be said also about 17 year old Noen Oliver who has no one besides his six year old sister and bestfriends.

He's never trusted anyone not since his parents walked out on him and his sister when he was 11.

Never did he trust until one day
he saw this beautiful angelic girl at the mall.

Will these two broken souls be able to mend themselves or will they only hurt each other in the end.

"A soul mate is someone who you carry with you forever. It's the one person who knew you and accepted you and believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would." "If grass can grow through cement, love can find you at every time in your life."

In the face of loss, love has a rhythm all its own. Amelia Rivera has always danced in the shadows. At 16, she's a talented dancer-one of the best-but she hides it behind her quiet, bookish exterior. After losing her father in a tragic accident and then her best friend to suicide, Amelia's heart is as fragile as it is strong. Now living in Miami with her mother and stepdad, she's trying to outrun the memories that keep haunting her, but her past refuses to stay buried. Luca Moreno is a 16-year-old boxing prodigy, a "bad boy" with a reputation that precedes him. His father's pressure to succeed in sports is constant, but it's the emotional weight of his broken family that keeps him in the ring, fighting for something-anything-to keep him from falling apart. Beneath his tough exterior, Luca is more than just a fighter; he's a son, a brother, and a guy searching for something real. When their worlds collide, an unexpected connection forms-one that pulls them both out of their comfort zones and into a shared rhythm they never saw coming. Amelia's hidden passion and Luca's vulnerable side are two things neither of them expected to find in each other, but together, they create a bond that might just heal the broken pieces of their hearts. But love isn't easy when their pasts cast long shadows, and every step forward feels like a step toward letting go of the pain they've held onto for so long. With secrets, family struggles, and unspoken fears standing in their way, can they find the courage to embrace what they both need most-each other? Or will their pasts be too heavy a burden to bear? In "Unbroken Rhythm," two souls find solace in the music of life's unspoken moments, where love, trust, and the courage to move forward create a harmony stronger than any beat.

Book 1 of The Fly Series . . . His eyes turn red and his jaw begins to tremble. "I'm toxic. I'm arrogant. I'm awful. What else? I'm a misogynist. A sadist. There's no good in me. I screwed up your life. I disgust you. I insulted your mother. You won't ever forgive me." He tightens his jaw before slamming his hand on the wall beside my head. "I know you want to say these things so say it. Tell me, Firefly. Tell me how traumatizing I am. TELL ME!" I don't hesitate. "I love you." His hooded eyes flaming with anger turn pale. He never expected the confession. Heck, I never expected this confession. 𝘕𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘢 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺. . . . Elena Summer is an upbeat, optimistic girl who is hopeful of a bright happy future despite her dark turbulent past. She is all set to begin her Senior Year back in her hometown--the one that the Summers eloped from when she was three. Justin Castor is the byword for toxicity, arrogance, and cold behavior. He isn't a bully by nature, he's a bully by choice. He embraces the darkness as his kingdom. But every dark villain is known to have a darker past, right? Less of a grumpy-sunshine genre and more of a dark-meets-light spin-off when the city of Cadford unites these paradoxes with one tangled story that all leads back to the past. BEWARE, this is the very bad version I wrote when I was 15 years old but I did rewrite it now that I'm 20 and I promise that one makes much more sense! New version is called At All Costs you can find it on my profile! What I see in the mirror is nothing special. I see a girl with dark brown almost black hair, with brown eyes that have been dull for years. I sigh and raise my shirt so I can see the bruises from my opponent last night. If you haven't guessed yet I am a street fighter and a good one at that. I fight in a place called The Underground where my manager Smith sets up my fights. Although I'm only 5'3, I still only fight with men. For me that means more money that I win. Did I mention I am undefeated at The Underground? No, well I am and almost everyone places their bets on me. Or should I say placed because me and my family are moving across the country to New York which means I have to find a new place to fight and make money. That was really my only problem with moving because I don't have any friends here, it's not like people haven't tried I just don't like getting to close to people. Although my family still doesn't know about my street fighting, we still are very close after what happened with my father. They left but I know they will come back and finish what they started and that's why I started street fighting. I need to be able to protect me and my family when they do come back. I'm not letting my family get hurt this time.

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. He has countless tattoos covering his body. And he doesn't care about anything or anyone else.
