Now there's a hidden fire of warmth beneath her stone demeanor. Can Alex let in anyone before she closes herself off again? Jack Ryke has always been running away from the ones who threaten him the most, but what he hadn't realized is that he was actually running to something. What will happen when Jack finds what he's really looking for? William is a top tier bully at Source high. Always trying to challenge others, but things take a turn when he gets dethroned and becomes a regular high tier student. Will William take back his role as an Arch or will he sink down as an Ace? --- There's a threat approaching fast and only a select few can stand to fight whatever comes in their way. Whatever they do, chaos will spread and things will never be the same. What will be left when everything clears away? Will trust be broken or will everyone stick together from the deep downs?

Dea Price is a runaway- or rather she was a runaway. When her mother's rants about the man who lived behind the mirror and who would one day come for Dea became too much, she left. Two years later, Dea is forced home to help her estranged brother bury their mother. Coming home forces to Dea to confront her past, and also brings an interesting group of strangers into her life. At first, Dea is sceptical, but when she begins exhibiting inhuman powers, she has no choice but to trust, something that doesn't come easy to her. Slowly, Dea learns the shocking truth. Her mother wasn't crazy or vindictive. The man behind the mirror is real, and he is coming for her. Dea learns that she belongs to a special race of humans who possess abilities such as mind control, telekinesis, and superhuman strength. She is thrust into the middle of a turf war, and tasked with protecting herself, and the family she never knew she had. Dea must learn how to control her budding powers, but she also must decide who she can trust, and what is and isn't worth fighting for.
