Silent Witness: One Shot

It is Sonya Destaris' first day working for the acclaimed detective agency, Silent Witness, but, before her first shift even begins, she can sense the beginnings of a very sinister plot.
An excruciating pain that sprawls its way through her back tells Sonya that there has been a murder. Recently.

Using the skills unique to the agency, Sonya is granted the help of Lieutenant David Reynolds for her investigation. Both set off with the hope of solving another murder. However, it soon becomes apparent that much darker forces are at play, having spun an intricate web of lies in the city of Seaturn.

The trail of lies spread even further than the boundaries of Seaturn, however, and both the Lieutenant and the newly appointed Detective find themselves in the middle of a drug war between two untraceable gangs.

As time races on, the boundaries of partners are pushed by the pair but so, too, re the boundaries of respect for the job and, more importantly, the law.
