"It is not too far, I advise you to leave now. He is safe, you are not." The doctor placed something on my head, I would've not noticed it since it is so delicately light with a smell of herbs. "Run," he whispered, and I watched him slowly walk down the pathway, replaying the sound of his boots smacking in the mud. The doctor left a trail of posies behind him, and I realize on my head was one lone petal and on my arm disgusting, red, swollen bumps. ***Slightly associated with The Plague Doctor, but enjoy loves! :D

Death. Despair. Blood. Sirens. I woke up in a cold sweat. What happened? Where was I? Why couldn't I see? My heartbeats rose, breaths quickened and I could feel blood rushing to my head. I felt a needle prick my arm followed by a voice, "Don't worry sweetie, we are going to take care of you." I should've felt relieved but all I felt was dread as I succumbed to darkness.
