Martyn has always been a sick boy, never had the abilities that you and I ever had. He couldn't go to school, couldn't hang out with friends. He couldn't even step a foot outside without fearing he might get ill. He had an illness, which could (If worst comes to worst) kill him. Then throw in Harlequin, a star baseball player for his schools team and a piano lover. He has everything we could ever dream of and possibly more. But his demons of knowing secrets he really shouldn't angers him to no extent. Now imagine a baseball soaring through the sky and smashing into a window, that is how our story begins. (I wrote this in a week so there might be a few errors in spelling. But enjoy it nonetheless.)

"You're so fucking annoying." Jake just shook his head at me. "And you're a self centered uptight dickhead." I glared at him. Jake laughed lightly at the insult. "You have such nice things to say about the guy that just fucked the shit out of you." - Evan and Jake hated each other. That was the one fact everyone knew. Captains to rival football teams meant that they were constantly at each other's throats. Everything turned into a way to one-up the other. But then the two boys find themselves alone in a bar bathroom and soon they are stuck in an enemy with benefits arrangement that can only turn messy. ⚠️Content Warnings- Sexual content, abuse, homophobia {book one in Crossing Lines series}
