Kouka's royalty is comprised of sinners. The crown sits upon the unworthy, and it's not nearly soon enough when it is wrenched away.

But, so what?

Aeri's pride is in her blood, in the warmth of her mother and the love of her father. Her pride takes root in the people she loves, in her family. And, even if she turns the castle into a shelter for the weary (one, then two, then three - since when has there been so many people she loves?), her father will always stand above them.

Not the King, nor any bearer of the crown.

And certainly not any usurper of it.

The castle is home and it always will be. No one can change that. Aeri will make sure of it.
