The Hidden Goddess

My name Artemis means Goddess of the moon. Having this name growing up I thought nothing of it, maybe my parents like mythology because o the names she gave me and my brother, he's called Apollo.

Centuries ago, what our kind calls the Moon Goddess, use to walk the earth among us. She was a sight to see. Dark hair, pale skin, but her eyes were what stood out the most, something about them just made you feel warm.
Then an attack came, the people who refused to follow the goddess had banded together, calling themselves the rouges. Their aim, to kill the Goddess.
They succeeded in their mission, but not before she separated her spirit from her body. After this war the Goddess passed her life to a women, teaching her all there was to know, and when the time is right she shall rise again.
