Medieval [Completed]

Artist Vance is a lowly peasant, who has the name of a once great, now disgraced noble house. He lives in a village which resides on the Toq family's land. One unfaithful night, the church attacks the Toq family along with all the villages on their land in order to force the noble house into fealty. The church arrives at Artist's village, and regardless of their resistance they are defeated. During the struggle Artist's mother, wife and unborn baby are gruesomely murdered all in front of him by the church soldiers. With his heart consumed by grief and acrimony, a demon took advantage of the situation and possessed him. He wakes up the next morning covered in blood with everyone around him brutally killed. Soon he finds out that during his demonic possession he found a way to sustain his humanity, which leads to him gaining the power and body of the demon, but still keeping a human heart. He was transformed into a Nevellim, a half human, half demon. Now with his new found power he aims to avenge his mother and wife's death, but goes through multiple sinister and horrific ordeals before finally getting retribution
