‎"Baby, you know I love you. I was just lonely! She's nothing. Nothing! You're my everything. Please, baby! I don't want to lose you."

He grabbed my arm and I turned to face him. Through watery eyes, I gave him my most genuine smile, "I love you too, Dylan."

He let out a sigh of relief and pulled me into a hug, "I'll never hurt you again, Katie. I promise." He pulled away, looking into my eyes.

I blinked my eyes and bit back the hatred that was threatening to overtake my facial features.

I gave him the fakest look of love that I could muster, "I know you won't."

And he wouldn't. Because from now on, Katie Jones was the player in this relationship. Dylan would pay. He would learn that I am not the girl you cheat on.

I was going to make him suffer. I was going to make him cry like a little, fucking girl.
