Zelda , Princess of Kelshia Kingdom, is unwillingly being forced to marry Prince Hishi of Kelshi Kingdom, her very own brother. The king and queen arrange to have this done in order to show peace and form alliances with other kingdoms. 

Her parents leave to travel to jerihfn kingdom to try form alliances to prevent a war from breaking out. They also attempt to find a man for Zelda to marry. If they come back with no boy, she must marry her brother. Zelda needs a babysitter. A body guard. Her parents hire a boy her age but little does she know that his story does not match what's really true. 

With laws in the way, and her marriage just around the corner, Zelda must force herself not to fall in love with her bodyguard. For her parents and for her kingdom. 

A mortal enters UnionDale and this causes Rivallery among the angels and vampires who attempt to hunt down the mortals. Not only are the mortals the top targets for the vampires but Zelda is too. 

When Zelda must hide for her life, she is suprised when her bodyguard offers to protect her and help get her free. But can he be trusted?

During her journey, Zelda uncovers the secrets about the curse of UnionDale and that she must be careful with her actions. Because in UnionDale ghosts are real and this curse was only the beginning of a whole new world.

No one knew their true purpose and looks beyond the castle's court because the castle's magic would erase everyone who stepped out's memory of them. The two strongest of the eight turn out to be the main love interests of Aurelia.
