Madeleine Salvatore has watched her brothers fight over girl after girl. In other words, her life is boring. Dull and meaningless, if you will. She had been turned at only 19, by her brother Stefan. She had already enjoyed the strength, the speed, the compelling, the healing, the humanity switch and all the other perks of vampirism. Madeleines brother Damon enjoyed his by compelling his way through life while Stefan did the opposite, tried to blend in, act normal. Act human. She loathed her brother for turning her in 1965, exactly a year since he had been turned. But when Bonnie Bennett, Damon And Madeleine get stuck in an isolated prison world, what will the future hold for Madeleine? Will she somehow find the spark in her vampire lifestyle again?
