The Mysterious Place

Short side note before the actual summary of the story: I wrote this story in my freshman year of High School. It was supposed to be a short story but I ended up writing like 10 pages to it. It's a bit cringe-worthy because I was going through a sort of Creepypasta obsessed phase. I wrote this over the course of a few months and my teacher was surprisingly nice enough to let me write as much as I did even letting me go over the due date a little. I remember writing parts of this while I was both sick and on fall break visiting my grandparents. All that hard work and creativity paid off though because I got an A+ on the paper. I do remember after though that I really wanted to post it somewhere online so that's kind of why this account exists.

A young girl named Scarlett lost her family to a tragic car accident near a small village in a remote location in London when she was only 10 years old. Hours after the crash happened two teens, a few years older than Scarlett, and a young girl found her bruised and bloodied crying in the aftermath of the car crash trying to wake her mother and father. Months after the car crash the family of the kids that found her in the aftermath adopted her into their family as they had no other choice. After she moved in Scarlett and her step-siblings had started to notice bizarre things beginning to happen around them. What could these things be? You'll have to read more to find out!
