Same thing, different day. That type of mindset had always resided within me.

"If only I could leave this bland of a space called reality. Please, just once in my life, let me experience something thrilling."

As if pleading to an unknown sort of existence, whether it be from this world or another; day by day I ask for the exact same thing.

Finally, as if heeding to my call, I hear a familiar voice.

"You don't belong to this world. Come, child. To your real world. Return. Return to the world you once set foot upon and regain the glory you once possessed. To my realm, Te Zari."

"You doubt my powers?" "Nope, you're just too stupid to realize that I'm gonna kick your ass." "Your arrogance will be your downfall!" "So you say, wiseguy. Now, shut up and let my fists do the talking." Ah, so I see you're back for round two. Good to know. Congratulations! You, yes you! My dear reader, you are holding my second journal of hilarity and peculiarity After the events of journal one, I had a lot on my plate. For starters, my team and I had a pesky demon problem to deal with in our home country of Alysia. Just when I thought I was finished mopping the floor with our daedric adversaries and that I was free to finally learn more about the strange, wondrous, and deadly world I had been introduced to, a new bad guy shows up and boy, he isn't messing around either. To continue the trend of going to strange places and doing even stranger things, my team and I do everything from helping a dragon priest knock out his asshole of a boss, dealing with a diplomatic crisis the only way we know best, to even traveling to the home country of my pointy-eared friends. (A.K.A the elves.) You knew it was going to happen, so prepare yourself for the continuation of... THE BLACKWYRM CHRONICLES Yours truly, -H (Special Note: This cover was drawn by my friend Miranda Mayes. She decided to draw Journal 2's cover for free, so yeah, she deserves recognition. She did a stellar job!)

Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)

Decades. He'd wasted decades of his life doing what? Chasing the minuscule sparks of passion to ease the aching void in his chest? Wasn't there something better? Someone to guide him away from the misery? Distract him from the life he couldn't escape from? There were days he didn't know which way was up and where the sea began. Where the skies collided with the dirt and delved into the inferno of the hells. The whispers of creatures that should have had no interest in a mortal caressing the shell of his ears. Beings he believed to be just as mortal as himself and if one observed their flaws they might have been. Walking the city grounds and sailing the oceans as easily as anyone. Blockades of fire and ice prevented their hands from intertwining. Now he balanced atop the wall. Grabbing both with shaky arms and keeping them close. Please don't leave. Fangs and claws used to claim him. Gentle kisses and caresses to calm him. Breathless words pulled him deeper into the madness. Further into inky darkness speckled with blinding light. Granting him everything he never knew he'd wanted. A dream come reality. Strange how love could spark from pain. How fickle. And how much he only wanted more. ((Heelloooo, thanks for clicking. :3 Its been quite a bit since I've written anything but I wanted to try something new. Been into making my own novels and stories and this ones an au based around the chars of my current works. This is gonna be a m/m story. Well theres three of them but who doesnt love a love triangle. Feel free to ask questions or comment your thoughts, I love those Now, quick warning that there are dark themes involved in this story including manipulation, power dynamics, and dubious consent. Those chapters can be skippable without losing too much plot but I'm warning in advance that viewer discretion is advised.))

Before moving to Maile, life was simple. Obey the school rules and you don't get expelled. Don't get expelled and your parents don't send you to live with your Uncle. Don't live with your Uncle and you don't discover your entire maternal family, including your mother, are sorcerers... all except you. After moving to Maile, things got a lot more complicated. Lacking any magic of my own, I was left with one gift - the ability to see a world hidden from ordinary humans. But there's a reason it is called the Curse of Sight; some things are better left unseen. At first, it was fun. Meddling with ancient legends, uncovering dangerous secrets, developing a crush on a supernatural. However, when things begin to spiral downhill, to the point everything you know and love is in jeopardy, it becomes a matter of life and death. |Cover Credit: PittieLau| |DeviantArt: pittieslau|
