Mt. Sensan-Ghi
A collection of poems and short stories interwoven in a larger narrative that served as a way for me to work through burnout. The tale of Estavir is a metaphorical dive into my burned out mind as he searches for deeper meaning and climbs Mt. Sensan-Ghi filled with trials to test his heart. This is my first published work of fiction. It was conceptualised during a burnout I experienced back in 2017. With support from family, friends and a professional with whom to talk, I tried working through the burnout over the period of a year. Just your basic 'He's the bad boy and she's the girl next door', type of story. Okay, Maybe not. It's more like 'He's a crazy, violent, anger prone lunatic and she's the girl next ward', but hey, they're pretty much the same thing, right?
