A hundred years ago there was an uprising that broke the heavens and unleashed hell upon the world. The Gargoyles have tried to over throw the Angels.  So far it hasn't worked.... and now the world is split into two sides, Angels vs Gargoyles. 

Reyna Johnson is considered to be death reincarnated. On the battle field is where she thrives... or use to since she hasn't be allowed on the battlefield ever since her mother died three years earlier. 

With her father running the Military for the Angels and terrified of losing her, Reyna is stuck training the new recruits at her fathers orders but she yearns for action or adventure. With an estranged older sister that took off the moment her mother was in the ground, a father walking around in a heartbroken daze and two younger brothers that are always at each others throats, Reyna has no time for complications. She's just going through the motions at this point. Truthfully, she just wants this war to end. It already took her mother from her, the last thing she wants is for anyone else she loves to be met with an early grave. 

So Reyna fights, for her family, her friends, she fights for herself and she's damn good at it. But one fateful encounter changes everything and complicates things even more. As Reyna is thrusted into a world she knows nothing about, her and her friends will learn much about the very people they sought to kill. 

As Reyna's journey continues in enemy lands it will be met with lies, secrets and betrayals that will follow her around every turn as she discovers that maybe she was fighting for the wrong side all along...
