Requiem of a Cyborg

2001 - Arcadia Corp is founded. Russia-based corporation with an open patent policy and low segment orientation quickly gains leadership on European markets.

2007 - Arcadia Corp acquires Lehman Brothers bank, saving it from collapse. The new purchase becomes a basis for a full-scale invasion on to the US market. Acting as a local company with its US-based assets, Arcadia expands all over the Western Hemisphere.

2021 - Russian Armed Forces contract Arcadia Corp as a supplient for AI-based equipment, including war jets, drones, and tanks. The following leads to military reforms in Russia, leaving thousands unemployed.

2024 - Eugenic Sanctions. After shocking reveal of Arcadia Corp's amoral experiments all across the globe, a series of embargos is placed upon Russia, primarily focusing on Arcadia-related spheres of interest.

2026 - the Augmentation Carrier Program. 156 young people in Russia undergo a series of surgeries as a part of an experiment of implanting complicated cybernetics into a human body. The great reveal - Arcadia executive office comes out as a group of alien scientists from the LI century, who time traveled to alter the history.

2027 - the first recorded evidence of Time Anomalies. People start disappearing at one place and reappear at another all over the world. The following is officially stated as the most dangerous natural phenomenon ever witnessed. Arcadia Corp calls for emergency and launches the Operator Program.

2028 - Time Anomalies worsen. Arcadia remains silent. Public, however, suspects that the organization holds responsibility for their occurrence. Operator Program keeps running. The Augmentation Carriers - almost normal people, whose lives changed drastically once they made their first breath after the surgery. They now have to go away and not in a way one would expect. These are their requiems.
