Meet Jerry, an aspiring detective who is hoping to break his first case, by investigating a slew of missing persons, who all seem to disappear along the same street, a dark street, with multiple condemned buildings, a church, and a halfway house. All perfectly good places to start the investigation, except of course, no detective can be kept sane without their coffee, so Jerry decides to take a pit stop at the one ordinary building on the road, while keeping an eye out for strange behaviours.

An edgy Christian drama novelette. Jerry has problems. A few years ago his pregnant mother died. His Dad has reduced himself to a drunk. Dad gets violent when he drinks, which is all the time. Jerry decides to run away, but ends up destroying another family by taking all of his anger towards his dad out on a stranger. How will this all be reconciled?
