Dude

Legacy Granger is a 17 year old gay male who is homeschooled while his younger brother Leif, who is 15 years old attends the local high school. The reason Legacy is homeschooled is because he was bullied to the point he was beaten into unconsciousness a year ago; so his senior year is done via the internet. The reason for his being bullied is due to his being gay and he is a 'dude' on his dad's equestrian therapy ranch. His brother is also a 'dude' but isn't hassled for this.

Legacy and Leif's dad is Logan Granger and their mom, Laura has been M.I.A. since Leif was a year old and Legacy was 3 years old. After Laura was gone for a year with no contact what so ever with anyone, Logan filed for divorce and was granted the divorce two months after she did not respond to any ads in the paper or a divorce document and summons sent to her parents last known address.

Sinclair (a.k.a. Sin) Parker is an 18 years old tattooed 'bad boy' of the high school Legacy used to attend and that Leif does. Sin has been labeled the 'bad boy' due to his tattoos from his neck, down his arms and chest and has his ears pierced and gaged and he has two dad's, David and Cole, who adopted Sinclair when he was two years old. David and Cole also adopted another boy, Carter, who is 5 years old and is now 7 years old. Cole is a tattoo artist who has done all of Sin's tats and David is the music and drama teacher at Sinclair's high school.
Sin's parents decide to enroll Carter in the equestrian therapy at the Warren ranch in hopes that it will help with their son's social anxiety disorder (S.AD.) and PTSD due to his traumatic past. Thus Sin and Legacy meet since Legacy has the training and degree to work with the patients and tends to work with mainly the children while his dad works with the adults and teens.
