Protectors of the Human Race

Since the beginning of time there has been someone watching. Protecting.The Protectors are great beings stronger than most others. Faster than most others. No other super being could defeat them easily. The Protectors were specifically bred for this line of work. The Protectors protected humans as if their life depended on it...literally. Though the Protectors protected the humans, they were to have no contact with them. That is the way it was supposed to be. Eighteen years after a Protector and a Human have a child, the child is of age now to know her true being. Follow the life of Jane as she learns about herself and the hardship she must face. Will the Protectors allow a half-human to live among them or will Jane be pushed away?

I did do this story for the Watty Awards but decided it was too late. So, I deleted it and did a few touch ups. So, if you've seen this before...that's why.
