“Noah!” My face winced at the chime of her familiar voice. The girl who shamelessly screams my name in public, the girl whom everybody wants to meet, the girl who stays perfectly stunning even if she eats like she’s been food-deprived for a year, the girl who literally comes out of nowhere and deliberately sets everything off balance, yes please, I would love to get myself away from her before I completely lose my mind. I turned around with a nervous gulp. She ran to me, and laced her arm around mine. “Were you avoiding me?” At least, the gullibility this girl has was something I could be thankful for. “No.” Actually, I was running away from you. Permanently. Again. “Good ‘cause I have something to show you!” She dashed me along with her. My feet were forced to run, and I let out another one of my usual sighs of exasperation. In contrary, she plastered a cheeky grin on her faultless face. As we scurried across the University’s grounds, a few not-so-subtle gazes fixed on her. It didn’t bother me since after all, she really was eye-catching. Even my friends wanted to date her, so I couldn’t blame the by-standers who were blatantly gaping at her right now. The strange girl stopped in front of an ice cream shop. She pleaded with a pair of suppliant bright hazel eyes. Groaning, I pulled my wallet out, and her grin grows wider. Oh yeah and did I mention she was my girlfriend?
