It has been years since the noble leader Firestar died, but ThunderClan is still thriving under Lakestar's leadership. Two litters of kits have been born and one is soon to be born. Food is plentiful, and the season of leaf-bare has past. Hollykit has been dreaming of becoming the best warrior in the forest. Only, her dreams are haunted with clans of mysterious cats fighting endlessly and forever. Her father, Lightningstorm, has gone on a mission to find herbs and hasn't returned. And the other clans' leaders, Shimmerstar of RiverClan, Graystar of WindClan, and Blackstar of ShadowClan, have been pushing on the borders of ThunderClan. Even RiverClan, who doesn't share a border with ThunderClan, seems hostile. And through all this, the forests of ThunderClan and ShadowClan seem to be warming up.... Timberheart leapt off the boulder "Is that a threat?!" he growled. Flamestar thought her words over "Maybe. Lakeclan to me!" she yowled before either of them had time to respond.
