A foreigner in the Philippines acquires a strange inheritance from a local, since none of the immediate family would like to accept it. He naively accepts it, not knowing what he is in for. This is a story of a creature called Wakwak from the Visayan region in the Philippines, common to the Cebuano speaking islands and the variant dialects thereof. Unlike other creatures of the west, these are human and alive.
