After Richie finds out he's been adopted, he finds his real family, the Wheelers, and lives there part time with them. But fitting in part time in Hawkins is hard, especially when your twin brother hates you, his girlfriend likes you, you like his frenemy who is dating his best friend and you also have a gay fling with your best friend back home. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention - there's a thing from another universe called the "upside down" coming after you. *THIS IS JUST A STORY AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE SO THE CHARACTERS WON'T BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS IN THE FILM AND TV SHOW, ALSO THE KIDS ARE ALL 15 YEARS OLD NOW*

Will Byers moved from Madison Wisconsin to Hawkins Indiana when his mom got back with his dad for the money. Will was less than excited as the prospect of having to leave his few friends and move in with his abusive father but there was nothing he could do. He goes so school expecting it to be bad but it ends up being worse than just bad, it was terrible. Luckily his new friend Mike Wheeler helps him through it. Will quickly gains a crush on Mike but holds it in as it's the 1980s and he thinks Mike is straight. Mike thought he was straight to, until he met Will and things started to change.
