After Richie finds out he's been adopted, he finds his real family, the Wheelers, and lives there part time with them. But fitting in part time in Hawkins is hard, especially when your twin brother hates you, his girlfriend likes you, you like his frenemy who is dating his best friend and you also have a gay fling with your best friend back home. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention - there's a thing from another universe called the "upside down" coming after you.
