About 3,000 years ago in the samoa Vavau the God of peace was banished to the mortal world forbidden to return to the heavens unless peace is everywhere. 3,000 years later in the 21st century Vavau is still trying to make mends between people and other people but there is always another problem coming up. Prologue:
As the wind was whooshing down to the earth Tagaloa the chief deity sent Vava'u to the earth shouting,"You shall never come back again unless the peace in this world is fulfilled."
Pleading for His freedom Vava'u shouted in fear, " please chief I will be good to you, please don't punish me this way."
Vava'u was left alone. No sign of Tagaloa anywhere. Vava'u then started his journey to bring peace in the world of mortals.

It unfortunately comes with a few consequences, including a new relationship with the water, conscious tattoos which come from nowhere and Moana's new status as a Demigoddess of the Great Ocean, and half-daughter of Tangaroa.
