Hard to Face Reality

Alexis Rodriguez is a 23 year old white washed Mexicana who loves helping people and making others happy. She's a waiter at a small diner cafe and her best friend is the owner of the cafe. Seems like such a wonderful life she has built for herself right? Wrong. She has a boyfriend thats she's been with for a year. No one knows that her boyfriend is tearing her down mentally and physically. She just can't seem to face reality. She understands how wrong and messed up her boyfriend is but she refuses to listen to her best friend, the only one who knows whats going on.

Miguel Angel Reyes is the leader of the most feared mafia in the world, Los Reyes. Everyone fears him, he's a Mexicano devil. All everyone knows is that he's a dangerous man not to be reckoned with. The demons in his closet that seem to haunt him everywhere he goes can break anyone to the point of insanity. So all he does is try and run from those demons instead of acknowledging them especially since he knows once he does he'll have no one there to help bring him up, he'll be in pure darkness. Sometimes its hard to face reality.

So when he walks into a small cafe imagine his surprise when he encounters a beautiful golden girl that smiles at him and shows him such kindness. He couldn't possible understand why she wasn't afraid of the devil himself. Imagine how shocked Rosa was to see the drop dead gorgeous not to mention mysterious man himself walk into the small cafe with the most serious facial expression ever.

So what happens when he catches a glimpse of the way she's treated? What happens when she starts to feel a certain way towards the mysterious man? Will these two finally be able to help one another face reality or will they continue to live on with there lies until they just crumble?
