The thought of moving from one region to another was bizarre for Emilia Grey. Her mother thought it would be a good way for her to start fresh and away from the place of toxic memories. However, what Emilia didn't expect was to start a journey with a Pokémon companion. The journey was supposed to help her find some closure for a tragedy that occurred four years ago, but the presence of an entity form the past begins to bring up memories she repressed.

With the rise of Team Flare and their goal to revive the legendary Pokémon Xerneas, a heavy responsibility is placed on Emilia's shoulders. Upon finding out about those plans, she will stop them at all cost with the help of her friends. Will she be able to save the region even with her past dragging her down?
