She was only young when her island was raided by the likes of both marines & pirates, her family slaughtered like they were animals while her & others her age were kidnapped & sold to the likes of Celestial Dragons or pirates just kept them to be used for whenever they wanted. She didn't know whether to feel fortunate enough to end up in the hands of pirates other than Celestial Dragons.

Though, fortunate enough her luck did seem to come her way when a certain Vice Admiral happened to be in the neighborhood & in the mood to kick some pirate ass. He found her, gave her a home & she grew to be a very powerful... merc! Learning from the best of the best she used her new found skills to hunt down wanted criminals or ancient artifacts that cost enough to buy the world...

... though she does steal them when she likes them, unless the money is high she won't do the job, she likes & prefers a challenge.

This story follows my oc Monkey D Ki on her journey: First with the Spade Pirates in the Prelude, then with the Straw Hats after the events of Syrup Village... etc. She is Luffy's paternal older half-sister and grew up in Foosha Village alongside him and Ace.
