There is a world, far away, where some people can peer into the future. They gaze at it through a cloudy fog and try to make sense of what it says. From the beginning these Premonitions were exploited for their power. Enslaved by the Betian kingdom, they struggle to even find an existence worth living. But when three very different Premonitions foresee the end of the world they know, they battle with everything inside them to change it.
As a Premonition, Reya has never expected kindness, especially not from strangers. All she wants to do is survive each day as it passes. But when the Betian Prince takes an interest in her and takes her to be employed at the Palace she uses her new position to try and change the horrible vision she has night after night. But her secret drive could ruin the only happiness she's ever truly had.
Aja is a Princess. The model of Betian society, she stands above her peers and smiles gracefully from family portraits. But she has a secret she could never tell anyone, not even her father.
Aja is a Premonition. Only her mother and younger brother know, and she hides the fact everyday because if anyone ever found out she would be enslaved. But when a dark cloud looms in the Future, she finds herself closer than ever to exposing her secret in hopes of saving her kingdom.
Daren will always be in debt to the family that bought him off his auction block. They took him in and treated him fairly. So when they asked him to stay with them and be a part of their scheme to save hundreds of Premonitions by sending them to far off lands, he couldn't even imagine disagreeing. But he has secrets he can't reveal, secrets that could threaten not only the friendships he's made but even the world.

And as the stakes rise, Auren will have to face her family's deadly past, master the terrifying power she was bound with, and figure out if loyalty and love are worth the risk when everything could be ripped away in a heartbeat. ------------ if you haven't already read the Fourth Wing series... like, what are you even doing with your life?? 😂 go give rebecca yarros all the love because it's honestly one of the best series i've ever read. this fic is obviously inspired by her world, but for me it's turned into a story about love, friendship, found family, and especially the bond between siblings. a lot of it follows the storyline from fourth wing / iron flame / onyx storm, but i've changed up some of the characters, a few signets, and since onyx storm just came out-anything beyond that is just my own theories and imagination making it my own thing. and hey, if it's not your vibe... totally fine. don't read it, I'm sure there are sooo many other good ones out there! 🖤 and nooo i'm not telling you who Auren's romance arc is-you'll just have to keep guessing 👀Concluída

Heyy so there WILL be spoilers for Fourth wing, Iron flame and Onyx storm so if you haven't read them, I wouldn't recommend reading this quite yet! but of course, come back when you're finished. This is set a year before violet shows up (yes, I will go that far into the story, and she will still be in the story) During the Aretia Battle right before the execution of Tyrish rebellion, Fen Riorson and a bunch of other members of the rebellion flew to the kingdom of Vaelryn (Who were allies to Navarre) and burnt the city to ash leaving nothing left, except.... Arabella D'Amore is the princess and 7th heir to the Vaelryn throne. King Solias and Queen Casara lived in the public eye and were known for being 'perfect'. They had a perfect government, 'perfect' marriage and 'perfect' kids. But only very few knew what actually happened in that castle for they were anything but perfect, but they sure tried. If a single kid twitched or faltered their smile, they would get a major punishment such as a whip to the back or a beating till you would bleed. Arabella being the youngest or the 'runt' in the family she would get picked on or beaten by her siblings and parents the most. Her oldest brother/heir to the throne was her savior. He would teach her how to fight and ward off her siblings whenever he could. After the kingdom was sent in flames Arabella somehow was left by Fen Riorson and was finally rid of her cruel family... but her brother who she watched get scorched by Fen Riorsons dragon was the only person she loved. He was gone and she had nowhere to go so off into the streets of Navarre she went where she learned to kill and steal and train. She saw conscription day forms and signed up as Marlena Iverson where she meets Bodhi Durran who teaches her to face her past so that she can finally love again.
