Greek mythology. A retelling of the goddess Persephone's story. Persephone is a young, beautiful but insecure goddess. Her father Zeus arranged her marriage to Hades, the god of the Underworld, but she refused to marry such an evil god. After being kidnapped, she finds that her father arranged that, too. Stuck in the Underworld, betrayed and lonely in a miserable marriage, she vows to get away...until she starts to realize her husband isn't so bad, after all. When escape is offered she accepts it, but realizes she is stuck forever in the Underworld...and isn't as upset as she should be. Her family is, however, and it seems like Persephone will never get a break.Terminé

Hell Is An Empty Heart (Sample)
Up in the sky, in a world woven from myths and lies, lives a goddess on an island. She is Persephone-the beautiful Persephone-daughter of Demeter, desired by every Olympian god. But when she disappears, the whole pantheon begins to fray. Above, Demeter must battle for her own freedom-from the ghosts of her past-if she is to see her daughter again. Below the earth, across the river Styx, between Tartarus and the Isle of the Blest, Persephone is hidden-entrusted by Zeus to Hades, the mourning king of the underworld, who sees no freedom from the shadow of a lost love. Isolated and caged again, Persephone is no longer a prize to be claimed, but a prisoner with many secrets. And she's not waiting to be saved. When freedom is the only thing left to fight for, even gods will burn the world. This is the first book in the 'Triple Moons Chronicles' series. *** CW: While written in a lyrical style, this story is advised for mature audiences only. Please read foreword for all trigger warnings. *** x18 FEATUREDTerminé
