Rowan Reyes was sent to a boarding school at age 7 after her parent's tragic death. The school she was going to wasn't a normal boarding school it was created to help teach young supernatural creatures. Arriving to the school was when Rowan found out she was a witch, it was also when she meets her roommate and best friend Hope Mikaelson. Now at age 17 Rowan and Hope only seem to fully trust each other.
