This is a fanfiction based not the Percy Jackson universe created by Rick Riordan
Okay, so I know that this makes no sense, in terms of the actual books. In this AU the Percy Jackson and Olympians series has happened, just in a different way. You can imagine that Annabeth were different campers during the adventures, or maybe the quest only made her hate Percy or something. That is really not the point since this story takes place later and in an AU. Oh, and the Heroes of Olympus has not happened, that would be way too hard to explain without Annabeth and Percy as friends.

Nothing involving monsters or ancient gods, no. Corruption. Somewhere in New Rome, a son of Ares discovers a loophole, a flaw if you may will in the Roman camp's governing and quickly makes his way to a high stand of power over the camp. He is in control of the camp, immediately abolishing Frank and Reyna as Praetor. His first decree?... wiping out the children of the eldest gods. The sons and daughters of Poseidon, Zeus and Hades are now wanted against the law with little to no odds of survival. Friends are made and broken. Loyalties shattered. Secrets spilled. lives ended. Percy faces the pressure of being popular, always in the limelight. He is able to keep cool on the outside to maintain his reputation, but on the inside, he's struggling with the stress. Troubles, obstacles, and love rise up with this journey, and danger is their constant companion on the way. But they are stubborn and determined and won't give up. But they're going to have to fight their way to the end, and it won't be easy. Will Annabeth and Percy be able to stay with each other and safe? Or will their world fall apart?
