Anastasia Williams' life changed completely after the Stock Market Crash of 1929 and her father's suicide. Suddenly, she has to learn how to take care of herself. She finds work taking over a speakeasy called the Shamrock Club. Immediately, a sexist bartender named Ross Calderwood and a carefree flapper named Evelyn O'Neil are thrown into her life. Anastasia has no choice but to tolerate them since they all have a common goal: to get to Great Britain to be with their loved ones. Anastasia feels as if this is the worst thing that could've ever happened to her. But can something good come out of a bad situation? What if the reward for pain and suffering was love?
