What happen when you wake up in some dark forest with soft grass around you?

Kiera is thrown a couple back from the explosion only to get up in a strange place which isn't the city.
In there she has to face a giant leeches who wants her only to be saved by a stranger man with long dark hair and black eyes who speak different language.
