Prince Roman of the Ironfelt Kingdom is well known for being a heroic, flirtatious man. Everyone respects him, and sees him as a mighty hero, however as much of a hero he is, he's lonely. His only real friend is his Royal Assistant Logan Crofters.
Lord Virgil Anxiety of the Dark Forest is the ruler and protector of the dark forest. He's known more as a legend/myth to everyone outside the dark forest, or as a evil, vious ruler. But to the creatures in the forest, he's a kind, lonely protector that just needs a little love. His only friend is a village boy that visits him named Patton Morre.
Two completely different lives, but maybe, just maybe one completly similar love.

(I do not own Roman, Virgil, Logan, Patton or Deceit. They all belong to Thomas Sanders. Ocs may be presented at certain times but only for plot reasons, such as Roman's parents, or townsfolk.)
Warning: Contains some blood, and battles that lead to death in creatures, or humans. As well as anxiety/panic attacks, some self hate, hurtful comments, and other other triggers. May contain cuss words such as Crap, Shit, Damn, and possibly Fuck. Read at your own risks.

* Written long, long before Deceit's name reveal! Please bear with me. I would love to change each of the names but there are simply too many chapters and I have written too many books, and I already need to change the name in nearly finished drafts of mine since they'll be published later than the reveal.
⚠️ WARNING: Contains EXTREMELY dark themes such as death, self harm, suicide, violence, toxic relationships, etc. Stay safe! ⚠️
NOTE: Don't read the bonus chapters before finishing the actual story there are spOILERS
Imagine reading a book of every conversation where people have spoken about you.
You see, everyone in the mind has a special item. Logan has special glasses that can let him see through walls. Roman has a sword with engravings of roses that allow him to sense any danger near him. Patton has a heart pin that he can tap and he can become invisible.
But Virgil? He has the worst item. It's a book. A book filled with every single conversation anyone's had about him. Nobody knows about his item, because he hides in in fear of that, if anyone finds out what it does, they'll fake everything they say about him and begin to avoid him completely.
The book is filled with things he'd rather not read, but he can't help himself from rereading and rereading and rereading, as the book gets thicker and thicker.
