The girl I saved. I felt that it was a mistake. I am not a hero, yet my actions showed just that. Her eyes, big, brown and full of mixed emotions. Every time I looked in them, it was as if they were searching for all life's answers. As if she was desperate into decoding everything her life held. Searching but never finding the answers to give herself closure. What ever she's thinking, it almost feels as if I can hear her thoughts. Rather like endless chatter and chants, dark and cold. My eyes fell to the ground, watching my feet as they carried my body. Stopping in my tracks I looked up to see the T.V outside, people gathered around watching the latest news, seeing a Pro Hero on screen, "The Beast Hero: Minotaur is on the scene." The news anchor announced. my gaze fell on his odd beast like structure taking down a large Bore villain. "Tch." Was all I could muster. Heroes, they're all the same. Boasted bastards and their money seeking hunger, was not the will of true heroism. Walking off into the background, and making it into a clearing, My eyes landed on the market section of the city, seeing people walk from one tent to another. My eyes landed on a familiar shade of Auburn hair. Its her. The girl from last night. I felt my mouth open slightly, seeing her with I assume was her mother. Chatting and moving to a jewelry tent. I watched as her eyes were glued to an item hanging from a rod. Her mother picked it up and held it in front of her, as if sizing it up and comparing the look it'd give with her outfit. I watched the girl put it on. It was the color of my eyes. My head fell from view of an onlooker who caught glimpse of me, And I stalked back into the alleyway. Gone.
