The Grims were feared for if they appeared in front of you, your life is destined to end soon. The Grims were the 1% of the human population to receive the gift of death. The Grims receive their gift after approaching the age of 15. Their pupils are black and glows when death is near. They wear a mask to signify their appearance. The Grims shows no remorse and is only assigned to do what they are born for; collect the bodies of those who have already passed. They have the ability to control life and death, but it is forbidden that they grant the opportunity of living to someone who is on the verge of death.

Jeon Jeongguk has been apart of the Grims since he turned 15. For the next 6 years, he collects the bodies of those who passes without any remorse. Families beg him to give their loved ones an opportunity to live, but Jeongguk was merciless. That is until he comes face-to-face with Kim Taehyung, Jeongguk's childhood friend of whom he has cut all ties with after receiving his gift. Kim Taehyung, the boy that he cared so deeply about was on the verge of death.
