Patience

She had her secrets from the war and just what had happened to her, it was just too hard for her to tell him of her broken past and yet some how she couldn't find a reason to let him go. He was curious, too much for his own good most days. She was a mystery to him one that he had to crack, one he just wished to protect. Perhaps they made too many promises in the end, too many commitments. However, maybe it's those promises that give them the patience so deal with one another and their pasts.

This is a spin off of a story I plan to write one day, so it will be short.
