Hi everyone, my name is Jumoke...I am a Nigerian, and I happen to be new here, but I trust that I'm gonna make do with this little opportunity I've got to be a sweetheart to you guys. Secretly vulnerable happens to be my first Nigerian story to be published here.

The story literally describes the trauma that a 23 year old Sewa goes through...talks about her crave for a successful academic life and a healthy mother once again...The question now is, how is this going to be possible with the likes of Dara, her best friend, who gets mad at her for getting all the spot light and leaving her in the dark, Daniel who stands as an obstacle to fixing her long term friendship with her best friend and this famous bad boy who shows up unexpectedly in her quiet life?

Trust me guys, I can be a crazy imagineer sometimes, and filled with a lot of suspense, but believe me when I tell you that you are going to enjoy every word of my work...don't give up on me yet, cos I'm gonna be needing great comments from y'all...

He hated her being around him and being around him was something Bimbo enjoyed. Until Paul asked her best friend to be his girlfriend and despite the both knowing her feelings, they both went ahead to date each other and so Bimbo lost three things. She lost her dream guy, she lost her best friend and she also lost her heart. She was too heartbroken and became cold and distant to everyone. Her character took on a new phase as she shut everyone out. She focused on her books and topped the class leaving both her best friend and Paul running after her. With her new cold and indifferent attitude, she barely noticed a particular someone who had eyes on her since forever. But she never noticed him. Meet Adeleke Jeremiah, Boston International College, social prefect. Tall, lean and he had an amazing athletic build. He played football too and the whole female population had eyes on him but Jeremiah enjoyed being low profile. What on earth that attracted him to his one year junior;he couldn't decipher it at all. He even went ahead to stalk her on IG and someone he was on her contact list yet they never spoke. When Jeremiah is assigned to her class as her Prep Captain, sparks finally fly. Sometimes, who we want is not the best for us.

In a typical African setting a girl must be married at a certain age. It's almost like her life is programmed "what to do, when to do,how to do and with whom". In the Northern part of Nigeria people see an unmarried girl of 25years and above as a failure to her religion,culture,family,society and herself. The so called society forgets the struggles of the "unmarried girl" what she goes through emotionally, what she thinks, things she has to do to keep a relationship just to be married, decisions they make to make people around them happy, but the truth is every single girl has a story good or bad and all she needs is someone not to judge but to have a little empathy and know that she didn't plan her life. This book however is a fictional but relatable story, the story is about four young girls who have been more of sisters than friends for so many years, in good times and bad times. Their friendship was what they have for each other but like many friendships it was tested. Was it that their love wasn't love after all or was their bond not strong enough? In the end these girls made decisions that broke the ties, what they built and the future of their sisterhood. They become victims of a desperate society that keeps asking"who is The Next Bride".

Everyone has that one life changing moment, That moment defines you. It shapes who you are as a person, and pushes you down the path that leads to the rest of your life. Sometimes you see it coming from a mile away, but other times it happens in a split second. That's how it went for me, one quick flash and my life was completely derailed I see the beautiful bridesmaids and the cute little flower girl, walking down the isle. Then I saw a handicapped stranger sitting on a wheelchair at the bridal stage. My eyes meet his immediately as i stand by the door. I froze, feeling my heartbeat quicken.
