 A Reflection On My Writing
I chose this book mainly because I know it well and it is not very complicated. The Giver also has a lot of room to change things with the open ending from the first book. I decided to make the episode of the story because the more I thought about doing it the moe weird ideas I came up with, until I realized that they didn't quite fit the story line. I did change the entire second book. I made my own characters and the way that they meet, I also changed the motive that Jonas has. Jonas and Gabe weren't in Gathering Blue as much that would have liked so, I made it how I wanted it. I think that my dialogue has improved especially with writing more of it, even though I would rather just write a story without dialogue at all. I definitely thought that this would have gone fast then it did, the difficult part of the story was coming up with a way to connect all my ideas together and write a good story that is compelling.
