Every thousand years.
It is said that every thousand years a legendary Pokémon will wake from it's everlasting slumber with the ability to provide three wishes. A unbelievable power which two parents have searched for for what seems like a whole thousand years all on its own.
After finding out the Pokémon won't wake for another few centuries, a feud erupts between the couple. It is then that Bertene Evenson moves to the other part of the region with her mother in hopes of forgetting and starting over.
In this new town she will meet people who will eventually help her on her quest to find her father, as well as achieving her one and only wish.
It's a chance that can't be thrown away.
