Elpida, a gladiator of Sparta, was kidnapped when she was 7 and has been training for the gladiator games in Troy ever since. But since Summer last year, when her father, Ares, claimed her, she was now treated less like a slave and a little more like royalty. Less like an animal and a little more like a human. And although she isn't used to these changes yet, she better, becuase they will be the least of her problem once she captures the attention of Achilles of Greece. And not in a good way.
