Elpida, a gladiator of Sparta, was kidnapped when she was 7 and has been training for the gladiator games in Troy ever since. But since Summer last year, when her father, Ares, claimed her, she was now treated less like a slave and a little more like royalty. Less like an animal and a little more like a human. And although she isn't used to these changes yet, she better, becuase they will be the least of her problem once she captures the attention of Achilles of Greece.
